Couple questions

I have searched, couldn't find much on this. I installed my powerfc w/ commander when I got my RX-7. It ran 7psi because of safe mode, and when I got my PFC up and running, it ran @ 12psi. I don't have a boost controller installed (should I get one?). I'm just wondering if this is designed for this boost with my mods. 3" downpipe/midpipe/turboback, intakes, greddy FMIC. I'm not looking to break any seals. I will be getting it tuned by steve kan but its going to have to be later this year.

you might want to get a better boost controler rather than using stock...you'll be ok as long as you don't hammer it to much...Just keep an eye on the boost when pushing it!! Also try and get a wideband!

This 12psi could possibly be spiking because of my exhaust. I have a manual boost controller that not installed. I'm going to put that in and see what happens.

The PFC can control boost but not well in my opinion.

Get a Profec or Blitz.

Is it a boost spike or boost creep?

It's a spike (if its spike at all!!) that holds @ 12psi. Definitely not creep. I will double check my gauge is installed correctly, and install my boost controller, and set it to hold @ 10psi.
