coolant fan actuation using apexi

my apexi is set to turn fans for coolant on at 94 and off at 88deg but has started to turn fans on at 89deg and off at 88 deg does the apexi get confused easily..which sensor turns the fans on is there one in the rad as both my readings say the same the commander and the defi so they cant both be wrong..i dont hava a datalogit so havnt changed anything at all
with lights off the fans activate at 94deg on 88deg off but with lights on they activate at 89deg on 88deg off..is this normal as i dont see the link between sidelights and temp reading to activate fans

The three fan settings for the PFC can only be changed with the DATALOGIT and run off the water temp sensor in the back of the water pump assembly.

None of the three settings is an OFF setting.

when i said on and off i meant they activate at the higher temp and click off at the lower temp..the fans are working fine its just that they start at 94deg with lights off and 89deg with lights on they disengage the same at 88deg...it seems some earlier cars were load dependant ie elec load acciordind to fd3s.net but this was on 93 and early 94 mine is a 95 unless it was built but not registered until later
