sounds like you need the haltec.
haltec is more involved to install for sure - PFC just drops in. Haltec makes you carry around oil and add it to your tank with fill ups. But it is everything you said - easier to tune for new mods and more flexible.

PFC is great for bolt-on mods, and people have used it for pretty wild cars too - but it is a bit of a pain to tune, you don't have access to the core maps (just adjustments on them) and less ability to control external devices, like water injection, I/C fans, etc.

I'll chime in here since I was looking at both units myself. I chose the PFC for a couple of reasons. 1: ease of installation ( Haltech is way way more involved) 2: keeps the oil metering pump (haltech doesn't) 3: tuning...I've had the PFS PMC before, so I know how they work and even thought the PFC is slower to tune as far as cell by cell, its more accurate than extrapolating between data points like the PMC did. 4: can be used for mods down the road just like the Haltech. 5: price : do get all the sensors and other misc stuff I was looking at 1600, while the PFC is 1199.
