Lightbulb Clarification by Chris@RP on how the IGL and IGT works

Ok, here's the deal:

running horizontally, N01 to N20, represents rpms, 400 each block. So N15=6000 rpms. I'm sure most know this already.

running vertically, P01 to P20, represents boost, w/P10 equaling 0 (zero). P01 through P09 represent vacuum, and P11 through P20 represent boost (the part we're all concerned with ). Chris stated that the possible range of boost (P11-P20, ten cells) equals 17 psi, or 1.2 kg/cm^2. Seems like a somewhat arbitrary #, but there it is. Perhaps Apexi knew the stock twins run out of gas around 17psi :p ? At any rate, each cell (numerically) above one equals 1.7psi. So for those running 13 psi, you want to look at P17 and P18 (b/c 13/1.7=7.65).

Right now Chris has me tuned (conservatively) to 12 degrees at high rpms on boost across the board.

I'm planning on using the map tracer to verify all of this when I get a free moment alone w/my R1 (probably this weekend).

Hope this helps you guys...

A fellow member on the forum has unlimited free access to a dyno. We're working together (over the phone) to start w/my maps from RP and fine tune them on his FD. Once we have the maps where we want them, we'll post.

Patience, my son....:p
