car idle's funny after single install.. sensorr check reads 4.8 V volts for fuel??
ok, so the car has been down for about 3 weeks because i was installing the single turbo and the battery was disconnected for that long too. now, when i went to start it for the first time today, the idle would go from 400-1500 up and down... i held the throttle in a bit and after about 5 minutes of holding it from dying out, the car started to idle normally..
now, this problem arised:
my Aeromotive FPR is reading like 30lbs of fuel pressure and when i rev it to like 5500 rpm, it shows it as high as 60 lbs!! thats without intercooler pipes connected.. and when i heard of the sensor check option on the pfc, i went ahead and used it. i went to etc or whatever the last option is on the commander and went on sensor/ sw check... the "FUEL" was highlighted in a box and it was reading 4.8V what is this and is this an error??? if so, how do i fix it???
Thanks,
-Roman

you're reading 4.8 volts on the PFC sensor check because you probably don't have the fuel temperature sensor connected on the secondary fuel rail. You said you just went to a single set up so you I'm assuming that you don't have stock fuel rails. If you look behind your water pump, under the maniold there and there is a green connector not hooked to anything, than that is your fuel temp sensor that in showing up on the PFC as an error.
Can anybody tell me what is a "normal" range for the fuel temp sensor and/or the conversion factor? Mine was reading 3.65 volts this morning, but I realize that I have no idea what is the actual range.
