I have a friend with a blown engine FD, car came with pfc thats tuned by some "omfg so good" tuner in the area.

I have datalogit so I plug it in and got the map.

it looks like the IG timing is kinda too advance?

and as for the based map, it looks like the "tuner" re-Cal it. and made some changes (took away fuel)

any opinions ? Thx

Never mind what the maps are showing, was the blown engine equipped to handle a tuned ecu? Tunes are not one size fits all. The map should have been cleared and start with a base map on a stock engine. Unless the car was equipped at least similar to the previous car that had the ecu. You can get away with some lightly conservative tunes but anything outside of that is asking for trouble. Did it blown just sitting there or on the road normal or freeway driving?
