Broen IAT sensor : HELP! *pics*
So me being the idiot that I am, I overtorqued my IAT sensor and ended up breaking the threads inside the bung.
Luckily I managed to get the broken piece out of my bung.
So now I need another sensor as it sesms like my best choice at the moment.
Pictured below is the aftermath, as well as the box the sensor it came in.
I am running a Nissan S13 SR20DET (RWD) engine with the Power FC D-Jetro.
Questions:
1) Is this sensor easily available from local Mazda dealers (in US/Canada)?
I ask because I am in Canada and from the little bit of searching I did, it appears this is a factory IAT sensor for the Mazda FD3S and a friend told me a base FD will also have it?
2) Would the GM IAT sensor be an alternative? How is it to calibrate/configure?

Are you able to confirm whether these Mazda ones can be readily available or have to be shipped from Japan?
Sometimes, I am just tired of playing the waiting game. I had such anticipation for this Sat. to hook up the PowerFC and all I had to do was break one little sensor.
My friend told me I can run without the IAT but I'd rather not. Comments?

Well I just called a few Mazda dealer around town, and I was quoted $62.65CAD ($56.50USD) for the part.
Sucks having to work f/t because I could get it same day but now have to wait till next Monday/Tue.
Well, lesson learned.
