Base map corrupted?
Base map corrupted?
I'm hoping some of the Power FC gurus can help me out. I recently sent a reset request via the Commander and it seems like something may have been corrupted in the process.
Prior to the reset command all sensor values looked normal and the maps displayed reasonable values.
Post reset the maps read completely nonsensical values and some of the solenoids make a loud clicking noise at IG on. The ECU does not save any changes that I make via the commander. The engine does crank and can start combustion but does not stay running.
If I plug in my stock ECU the engine runs fine.
I'm wondering if the base map is corrupt or if something else broke in the ECU.
Has anyone experienced or heard of the base map becoming corrupt?
To check the former, is there any one in the central Ohio area with a FC datalogit that would be willing to reflash the base map onto my ECU for a nominal fee to see if that would bring it back to life?
