I wouldnt consider myself an expert on the PFC, but I believe the base map is the pulse length of the injectors. The INJ map is applies a corection to the base map. If you have a 1.000 in the INJ map for a given cell, it will only use the on time of that cell in the base map. If you have 1.5 in the INJ map for the same cell, it will apply 150% of the value in the base map.
The base map is not accessable with the commander. You need a datalogit and a wideband if you want to safely tune yourself. Most importantly, if you do not understand how to tune the PFC, you should leave it to the experts.
If there is nobody available to tune it for you, I would highly recomend sending Chuck (cewrx7r1) a PM asking about his tuning notes. They are very helpful.

With these the tuner should be able to explain it all to you.
