Power FC automatic owner using power FC, you need to read this!!
hey, rotoryextreme I have a 1994 auto and I just picked up a pettit ecu off a manual. Is this going to work on my car, and what do I need to do to get it working? Thanks a ton, I bought it without thinking about the manual factor so if you could get back to me with some info since you seem to be the expert on this area I would really appreciate it.
thanks a ton

You will not get an answer most likely because AFAIK Chuck has moved overseas and is no longer in the sportcompact business here. Look at the dates on this thread-2004! On another note. It should work, but you will not have the connectors where the trans ecu plugs into the car ecu. Therefore, the hold light will flash and you will no longer have the hold function. Also, the converter will not lockup properly, and the shifts will be much harder due to no ignition retard during shifts. This could prematurely wear out your tranny. Best solution is to run a piggyback. In fact this thread is about running a stand alone computer as a piggyback. If you don't know what I am talking about, then you have a lot more reading to do.
