FL Apexi Power FC, WOOOPS!

Yeah, my situation is this I just bought an Apexi Power FC with monitor and I, since i was looking for the computer to run my car forgot to look as the serial numbers to see if my FD was compatible... Yeah... I know. So I get it today immediately i started to try to plug it in once i realized... the plugs are different . Once i did more research i found that i bought the Apexi Power FC for the JDM not US version engine . So please, how can i solve this problem? is there an adaptor? something that can be done?

Does the retailer you purchased it from not allow exchanges? I am sure you are not the first to have this happen especially if that retailer has been in business for any amount of time. Easy mistake to make, although I bet you won't make it again.

if absoutley all else fails, you might entertain getting a wire harness for a series 7 or 8 if you have to have the power FC.

You can give it to me, I have a japan-export series 7. That will solve your issue of having a ecu that dont fit, cause you wont have an ecu to fit!

Use the JDM wire harness or return it. Are you single turbo?

Where did you find out that it was for a JDM car? I just purchased a powerfc from another user and didnt check the serial number. I have a JDM car and I am worried this unit is for a North American car.

My car is a 92 JDM RX7, and my serial number on this unit is PFC FD3S4

I have read these articles http://www.clubrx.org/media/pfc/PowerFC_FAQ.pdf
https://www.rx7club.com/power-fc-forum-47/new-version-powerfc-faq-573647/
https://www.rx7club.com/power-fc-forum-47/apexi-power-fc-commander-fd3s-rx7-13b-1-3-a-726287/

But they do not really say what one DOES fit a JDM car.

think it would just be better to sell it, more than trying an adapter. Less issues to deal with in the end....

Thats the right serial for the year and there is no geographic difference on any PFC.
FD3S4 fits all 92-95 US and JDM

it not jdm or usdm thats the problem here. its the fact you guys purchased the wrong series. the jdm pfc works in the usdm fd you just have to remove 4wires on non jdm. just need the proper series.
