I have an FD and my brother is getting a silvia s13, we both are planning on running the Power FC, and I was just wondering if we could get away with only having to buy one commander?

Can't think of any reason Apex would make them not universal...

 

The newer PowerFC's use universal commanders, but the old ones are model-specific. But, Apexi Japan sells them where you get a free commander now, so the point is moot. I recently bought one for $799 (PowerFC and commander) off Ebay.
