Power FC air pump

air pump

Ive got a power fc and a stock cat..... if i unhook the pump what do i need to do to my pfc?.. Ive searched and didnt find that much about it. Thanks..

If you've got a cat don't touch your airpump, you will eventually clog the cat. Only unplug the airpump if are running a midpipe.

Even if you run a MP, keeping the air pump on and operational is benificial as it helps by pumping air into the exhaust manifold and cuts down on smell and emissions.

It cuts off above about 3000 and when on boost anyway so does not affect accelerartion except for its weight.

The only real benefit for removing it when running stock turbos is that it allows more cooling air to reach the turbo area of the engine.
