3K hot start/1-2K idle hunt fix

Remember that first mod you did on your car (greddy turbo pipe elbow to throttle body)? Remember wondering what to do with that left over hose that was attached to the factory elbow but no nipple on the new part? During the 3K hot start and subsequent 1-2k idle surge, unfiltered air is being sucked into the engine through this hose. I plugged this hose and the problem seems to have gone away!!

Any reason I shouldn't do this? Anti Afterburn control still seems to work, but I've only driven the car to work today after plugging the hose last night.

Not my first mod, and I knew what it was for. I had previously pulled it and it's metal pipe off and replaced with a cover plate.

Some of us know what we are doing, and know our car's systems or research first!
Not all newbs are automotive/mechanical ignorant.
