Arrow 0-5V oil temp sensors

Hey guys anyone have solutions for 0-5V output oil temp sensors?

Been neglecting to get one for quite a while and would love to add this to my arsenal.

A good compromise of cheap, durable and accuracy would be ideal, but rarly is such a simple solution found.

Please share ideas on the topic

Have you tried asking on the innovate forum. i seem to remember somebody on ebay was selling them.

If you can get a thermocouple simple circuit boards can make you a amp for it and give you the calibrations for you power fc.

I thought I could do it that way, but I bet there is a very elegant solution out there that would not require bulky hardware to accomplish what I want.

The problem would seem to be that most temp sensors are resistance based and one would need either for the sensor to have a built in converter to change the output to voltage, or I would have to build a converter.

Is there a specific thread you could direct me to that deals with this issue?

Hopefully someone will have tackled this problem before and will have information to share.

No reason to reinvent the wheel if I am not forced to

Im not 100 % sure on this but could you not ust get a stock fd fuel temp thermocouple. The calibrations could be worked out via the datalogit.

Im just not sure about the heat range in the calibration
