Basically, yes. The old ones were fine, except for a few people (literally 3) who managed to break them by means known only to them. One guy had solid engine mounts (vibration) and the other two I suspect were over- or under-tensioning. One was a repeat offender, breaking three in sucession. But a 1% failure rate, even when used beyond the design specifications, is unacceptable to us, so it has been shelved until I redesign it to be bulletproof. However, it is a very low priority. The ARB was not very profitable because it required so many operations (laser cutting, lathing, bending, jig welding, powdercoating, etc.) by multiple vendors and a bunch of parts (spacers, fasteners, tentioner, etc). If I do it again, I will make an aluminum casting so it will be a single piece with no need for spacers, end-bosses or bending. But that will be more expensive up-front and I will need to see a demand worthy of the investment.

Mark, you can buy mine if you want, my setup makes the alternator rub against the suspension mount slackening the belt off. PM me on MRC

Ended up going back to stock position.

Hi,
I just want everyone to know, that I run 2 of these ARBs and they work all fine.

One on my Stock-Car engine with original water pump that I also use for 4 hour autocross races in another car.
And one on my Race engine without mechanical water pump, I use an electrical one.

If I'll find the time, I'll post some pictures of the 2 setups.

I use solid engine mounts.

Here a small video of my race car.

If you make new ones out of alu, please let me know.
