My purple box is geting an error code of 0004(RAM problem) Anybody have any ideas on this one??
Actually I think 0004 means

I got that this morning. Actually, i got 0204. i think it is a EEPROM error. anyway, it maintained the error on my commute to work. i noticed i had lost all my settings. actually, i was hitting fuel cut at 4000 rpm, and was like WTF! then i saw the default RPM limit on the controlled read 4000! ARGH! anyway, i changed everything back, the error stayed. On the way home tonight, i looked at the error and it now reads 0200. The "4" is gone. Don't know the deal.

Donovan,

To be honest with you, you probably won't get much support from the Forum when dealing with the PFS/EFI PMS. If you haven't noticed....most of these folks have Haltech, Apexi and Wolf. You need to go to Yahoo's e-groups and become a memeber of the EFI group. Doug at EFI, who developed the box is also a member and often helps with error codes and more difficult programming functions. I'm new at this, just like you, and it has been a HUGE help.
