Gotta put a new cam in it, replace the valve springs and retainers, finish the valve cover conversion to mount the LS1 coil packs...

You're a sick, sick man, Jim.

If you have any wiring questions on the LS1 $100T2, feel free to hit me up on PM or email (webmonger@terminalfear.com). I've unfortunately done a lot of research on it, LOL. I've done one 99+ harness, and I'm working out all the details on a 98 harness now. I like to research things for a while before starting, so that I can sit down, and complete the job, without having to stop 50 times to check things, and I'm always happy to help others save some time scanning search results. I'd like to put together a walkthrough for the LS1/FC once mine is put together... then again, I never manage to get MY car put together. LOL

That's why I'm asking so many questions... I want to have everything I can possibly have ready for when I do the swap.

BTW, you guys won me over, I'm going LS1/T56... Searching for the donor now. I'm assuming there aren't many LS1 verts around, so at least I'll be a bit unique.

Thanks again for all the help.

not a lot of ls1 verts im sure, but there are TONS of SBC FC's that you never see on the forum. see em always on e-bay though.....seems thats what the rednecks do when someone junks a fc w/ a blown motor

I RECKON I CAN FIT A TREEFIDDY IN DEM ENGINE BAY

Now if they could just do something about the hood fitting on most of them theyd be cooler

theres one across the street from my friends house w/ some street slicks or something and a big scoop sticking out of the hood, looks better than most carbed v8 fc swaps
