loking for anyone out there who has pics or parts lists for one of these swaps. Either an sr20det or preferably 2JZ-gtte. but I wont belive that it is to hard or that it is not possible, SPEEDPRIDE has already donit with the supra7 so I know there is some independant gearhead guru out that has done it in his garrage.
Any help would be great , me and my buddy are about 2 weeks away from picking up our project from the scrap yard. Planning to build for drift, road race, and show.
But don't think we are crazy were not just tossing a 13b it's just the guy at the yard said the motor is no good, but because I know how touchy these motors can be we figured the chasis is in good shape to start with we would just drop in something with a little bit more meat. Especialy because the 7 weighs just a tad less than a supra it should do the trick. We have plans for the 13b in the future after rebuild and improvment to find it's home in our second project car a miata if all goes well.
So any one that has pics of aor some sort of parts list for a 2JZ-GTTE swap or a SR20 we would really appreciate a heads up what parts to look out for.
THANKS!
