Webber Carb conversion

Wassup! I finally got an NA engine for my 90 GTU and am in the process of rebuilding it. After I get it running, I'm thinking of converting it to a Webber carb setup. Got some quesitons:
1. Will I get more power and if so how much should I expect.
2. If the power gain is worthwhile, should I do anything else?
3. I saw Datsun 510 with a 1.8 and a webber kit. The thing idled like crap but man did it move! Will this mod make my car idle like crap as well?

Thanks!

Only if you Bridge Port it. Stock or Street ported it should idle nice and smooth.
