sr20dett? TT? twin turbo 2 liter 4 cylinder? no.

assuming that was a typo, and you just meant sr20det, yes its been done, no there isnt a kit, and yes it is stupid.

13bt will be easier/cheaper to install and the sr20 has no real advantage to make this swap worth your time or money.

sorry for the typeo..lol he is getting pissed off with his FC because he just rebuilt his 13b and it sat for a few weeks before he installed it and now there is something inside the motor. he said if he has to open it back up because of something in the motor he is not going to replace the seals and stuff all over again he is going to go pistons tell me what you think

well, for an fc i would choose a different powerplant. but if he is set on this engine then cool. i just think it will be alot of money for such little payoff..... in an FC that is.

now an fb? HELL YEA!

It'd be much easier to swap in a 4g63, and you'd wind up with a better engine.

why does he want to stay 'jdm' so bad? does he realize how fast his car would be with an ls1? while also remaining lightweight?

VG30DETT? Instead of swapping a 300zx or 240sx motor into an RX-7.... why not just GET a 300zx or 240sx?? I don't get it... Putting a completely wrong engine into it is pretty bad. I feel bad just having 240sx wheels on my car let alone if I had a 240sx engine. Unless the I-4, V6 or V8 is out of a Mazda than it's not right.

well i understand your point but when you build a 13b and it breaks on you in 22k like mine did and for my boy maybe 1 mile you can understand his/my anger. so your saying if he puts a miata motor in there it will be better?

lol omg i wonder if u kno that the 4g63 is also rwd... lol

Obviously not. Not only that, but the 4g63 will actually bolt up to the TII tranny, only one of the reasons I suggested it.

The other reasons being the iron block, proven performance capabilites, and most importantly, the greater deck height that allows you to stroke the engine without the rod angle taking a giant ****.

YEAH GUYS, I'M THE CLUELESS ONE!

Wasn't it a wideblock only, non 4g63 that could bolt to the TII tranny? Then could be rebuilt to '63 like specs?

..sounds simple...

i think that if you have an fc, a big part of why the car is so cool is the rotary, going away from a rotary would defeat the purpos of the car, i say if you want a diferent engine, go to a 13bre.

there is a member (OC_ i think?) who has swapped an s2k motor in his fd, that might not be a bad choice. though might be pretty pricey.

****, you're right. Here the whole time I thought I bought the car for my own personal enjoyment. Turns out it was for the rotary. Thank you for enlightening me.

Oh, and would you like to race?
