wait so is he gona offer the rear mounted kit or not anymore? i really hope so. my cars gona be parked for awile and this would solve alot of the concerns i have about other kits, like bump steer, shifter clearance. and clearance for a turbo (or two) later on down the road, very nice setup and clean install

I sold my car and I won't need the roll bar that I built for it. I'm listing it here because my group buy thread has been deleted. Here is the specs.

Race Shop 6 point Chrome moly weld in style roll bar with every option.

1. Roll bar with Rear diagonal.............$945.00
2. Seatback bar..................................$135.00
3. Driver side seat support.................$115.00
4. Passenger side seat support..........$115.00
5. Full Main diagonal...........................$145.00
6. Mini Main diagonal............................$145.00
7. Driver side Swing out door bar...........$250.00
8. Passenger side Swing out door bar.....$250.00

Total ...........$2100.00 plus shipping

This bar must ship by truck. The bar is NHRA legal to 10.00 or 135 mph. The only welding required is where the rear back stays meet the strut tower. This is the last bar. PM me if your interested.

Here are a few pictures of the bar.

oh and do you have a jig or design sheet with specs one could use to replicate this? i really prefere your design over the others built, im sure more then a few people are disapointed you dont offer this to the public. but im sure a few of us are capable of copying it given the specs.

There were 2 complete kits made, One for my car and the black one went into a friends car that I installed for him.

All the jigs are complete and I will sell them. I also have the tubing for 12 more cradles. When I get some time I will pack up the parts and offer it for sale, but for now it going to sit. At the end of the day this project was a waste of time...

I put the roll bar on ebay, I also have a rear hatch from a Fortune kit 93 to 95 if you know anyone who might be looking for one. The hatch is new and is also listed on ebay.

Is it worth to buy a LS1 and a kit from grannysspeedshop ? I mean some people said it would be to much for my little 2 gen (86). And to those who's already done this transformation, was it hard? What were the major issues?

My little 13B engine is a bit... let says on the way out (it has 130k miles on it)

Sorry the delay, I have had some interest in the jigs from a few people so I'll post here that I'm not selling any of my jigs at this time. I did state that I'm finished with this car but I may make the roll bar again if I can get at least 10 people that want one. I have some other things going right now and the demand for them seems to have dropped.

As far as the engine cradle goes, It would take great deal of time to show how to use them and I don't want to deal with it right now.

I wasn't trying to insult you or anyone else, I just don't want to sell them and open the door to a 1000 questions.

I will let you know when and if I decide to sell the jigs
