I have to agree with the comment about the Diesel. Art Arfons and his various Allison V-12 projects not withstanding, if you have to ask if installing a particular automotive engine in your RX-7 is possible, you probably don't have the knowledge to be doing it. I am not trying to put anyone down - the guy may have some very valuable skills that most of us don't have in some other area, but fabrication of a difficult engine swap is not for beginners. I put a rotary in an early GLC, but that was childs play compared to some of the swaps discussed here. The fact that I did it does not mean I am smart enough to sort out the electronics and wiring on an LS1 swap.

Years ago a friend put a 327 Chev in a bugeye Sprite. That was actually a farly easy swap. He drove it for several years, then sold it to a guy who immediately killed himself in it.
