Need a rearend in my hybrid....

What has everyone been useing to get a IRS setup in a 2nd gen rx? I need lower gearing to work correctly in my combo like a 2.56 or so. I've heard of the new cobra IRS setup bolting up nicely? What are my alternatives?

Thanks

The only IRS swap I have seen for an FC is a Corvette rear. Check out www.misred.com for that. I don't know that any Cobra rears have been done with FC's - jimlab designed a cradle for it but I believe only for the FD. The Vette rear would be strong enough and have a good selection of gears.

Yea' I've talked to mike (misred.com) and he is pretty busy doing his own projects. This is his latest....

He told me if I wanted to drop the car off he would do the swap for me (for a cost of course) but I wrote back telling him I was interested and never got any replys. Thanks all I'll just have to try a new route....

You could just do the same thing he did without having him do the work. His car seems to be done very nicely but I'm sure he's not the only guy who can pull it off.
