Look at top fuel engines that run that kind of boost. They are estimated at over 4000HP. Probably bad tuning or weak engine design. I wonder if they just sandwiched two Porsche motors together...
A) It's a Ferrari.

B) It's also 15 years old. This was waaaaay back in the day.

My dream motor would produce about 1,000hp, get 30mpg, be able to use high octane pump gas, and would pull stoutly from 2,000RPM to 10,000RPM...

In other words, there is no such thing...

Wow, you would settle for 30 mpg? You realist you!

B) Top Fuel cars run 60PSI and make twice as much power.

No way to get an accurate dyno at that kind of power anyways. I wouldn't line up with that thing if I was in a 2000HP Supra. That's amazing that they made a 12cyl boxer too. That thing must weigh a ton! Something cool about having a train blower on your car. Can you say "Bragging rights"?! Imagine the sound! Boxers are the best sounding engines ever, followed by v12s...how about a 12 cyl boxer?! That must be so awesome.

The 4 rotor BMW is sick too! That turbo is bigger than the engine. The inlet is larger diameter than the width of the front wheels. Amazing piece of work. I bet it sucks when the seals blow.

That LS1 is very nice too, although not as impressive. It's still very effective and probably can produce more than 1200hp.

How about this Mercedes though? 0-100 mph in less than 1 second!

Resides in a SL500
