Actually the motor in the project car was very strong. So I stuck with the stock motor and finished the project. It had its first track day today.

I have an outstanding offer on a 5.0 long block, and currently own a T-5. (Also have a LS1 if I want it but more $$$) So if I blow the motor the conversion will comense. Or if I find another Chassis for it. Right now I am in the process of trying to acquire a 70 Chevelle SS 396 for a project, found the car, and am trying to deal with the guy.

Here are pics before we went to the track.
