Geo 7, great idea? Detailed instructions inside

Yeah, so with the new first gen I got, I was thinking of putting in a 3 cly geo metro engine, to save gas money. And as a side benefit, it would have more torque, and be twice as fast in the process. I really think this may beat the LS-1 dollar/hp ratio. (geo engine is $100.00, 42hp= $2.38 per horsepower). Tell me guys what you think. Oh yeah, look at the instructions carefully, they kinda are complex, but you may get the idea.

I once saw a hyundai that had 2 engines. One drove the front wheels..the other the rear. It was a vary fast car, mostly because of the traction. But it was also turbocharged and ran on methanol. Interesting project anyways.

If you rig up some USB connected box with all the inputs/outputs youd need an ipod would probably be a more than capable ECM.

****, Ive seen ipods play DOOM before. Thats more than enough computing ability.

But see, if you really wanna do it RX7 style, youd take two cyls off of a geo motor, and modify the existing geo motor you have and add two more onto the block with an intermediate cylinder. Its only about $10,000 said and done and it gives you 50% more displacement!

All you need then is a turbonator and one of those fuel saver pills for your gas tank

Yeah, but the older 89-91 Metros have a better head.

3Tech Performance can hook you up with a performance or economy 3-cylinder cam, either which will actually produce a performance increase over the stock cam. I know you probably mentioned this as a joke but these engines do actually have potential... enough to propel a 7? Hmmm... I dunno. But with a stock 1600-lb Geo Metro, they actually do pretty well!
