It is a Very "Money efficient" engine and loves Boost...
I think i may do this instead of the KA24DE-T...
Im not familiar with this granny's speed shop but ill check it out and see if its worth it compared to just doing my own fabrication...
THanks for the helper push...

I am a BIG fan of the 2.3L turbo, but I think there are much better choices out there now than the cast iron wonder from Peru.
If I were to have a choice I would pick up a Mazdaspeed6 2.3L and the MX5 5 speed.
The MS6 engine and controls package makes for a wonderful package and the fact that the engine has been produced for 8 years in various tune and trim you could even build one out of the salvage yard!

Sweet ride 7T9rex. Local TN boy I see. 2.3Ts are great little motors. I have a 86Merkur with 82k miles and the power is sweet. Only problem is that its an auto. That why I went with my RX-7. Debating in the back of mind on doing a 2.3T swap into something soon. I have a 88 SE and an 81 Starlet that both would love turbo power. Good luck.

Thanks for the offer of help 7T9rex, but it will probably be a little while before I start on another project as I have too many already. Just got me thinking about the 2.3s again because my dad and I picked up another kinda 2.3 powered ride.

Just a lil bump, really would like to see a pic of a finished swap. I think this might be the swap I'm lookin' for. Cheap, reliable, and a lot of aftermarket support.

I am picking up a mustang with a built 2.3t with a T-5 behind it soon, and I plan on ripping everything out of it and putting it in an FC. Still shopping for a body though, if anyone wants to help me out lol

Still working on it. Things have been going slow because of starting college and now dropping out due to surgery. Plus I'm pretty poor now.
