Detailed pics of 1jz/2jz motor mounts/mounting locations
I'm actually swapping in a RB25 from an old project into my FC3S, but would like to see some more detailed pictures of motor mounts or the actual custom mounting locations done to the stock subframe.
Here is a picture of the TECH2 kit...

I just don't see exactly how that works. Do they remove the factory subframe? I do NOT want to do that.
Any info/help would be great.

you should not have to remove the sub frame; the large bracket in the lower portion of the picture is the transmission support/brace/adaptor. the big "u" shapped thing looks like you bolt into the subframe were your original mounts would go and then you would bolt the supplied mounts to it and install the engine like normal. but that's at first glance of the pictures

i thought it was strange to that "u" shaped piece, but thats the only thing it could be
