she finally made it out the the autox yesterday, and it was quite the experience. for those that havent see the pictures, ive been building a 2.3 turbo powered first gen for almost a year now.






overall i was happy with it. minus i overheated it once after i was done racing, i think it didnt let it idle down enough, and the pcv system isnt getting a proper vac. so it spews oil everywhere.

the car had PLENTY of power for the course even though i was only on 7psi of boost. i was debating putting my boost controller on and upping it to 15-18, but im glad i didnt since i would of had more traction issues. my friend let me run his azeins, which helped out alot, but the surface we run on is usually crap, so it still slid around alot. i will say the car doesnt handle anywhere near as good as my other first gen. the 2.3 car has stock se suspension on it, with no sway bar in the rear, and it was still kicking out all over the place. i plan to get springs, shocks, and sway bars eventually. the motor did put some weight up front, which makes it was to understeer alot. so it made it a hand full out there.

i was happy with it, i was able to beat most of my friends which usually doesnt happen. i ran a 49.4xx, and with my friends, out of 12-15 people i only lost to a sr20 powered 240, and a e30 with lots of suspension work and race tires.
