I was wondering about doing a v6 conversion. DOes anyone know anything about this? Like what I would have to do etc and stuff like that. Guys give me your input. Also like price for engine/cost things like that.

You will be going down a path less traveled so costs will be higher for fabracation of mounts, driveshafts, etc. That being said, there is some good information on using the GN turbo motors in FCs with great success.

There have been some posts not too long ago for complete drivetrains and mounting equipment for the GNs over on torquecentral.com.

my dad did a 4.3 chevy in his fc. theres some out there, and i dont know the deal with them, but a couple years back grannysspeedshop.com helped out alot and had the mounts. also, its not going to be harder and more expensive. the v6 doesnt take up at much room, so more stuff fits, like a/c, and you can keep the radiator in the stock location.. ect. you can get decent power out of a v6, but personally, if i was going to do a swap like that, i would do a v8.
