86 rx7 - miata

ok i have a 1986 mazda rx7 5speed and all that its the 13b non turbo. i was wondering is their in any way you could put the dohc inline-4 from the miata into the rx7?

Don't waste your time. You can put any engine into any car you want. You just have to have the money and the enginuity to do it. I saw a dyno from a B6 miata (non-turbo) and with a 50 shot of nitrous it only had 115hp at the wheels, seems extremely shitty doesn't it.

well there are many turbo'd Miata motors running 300+hp all day long without any problems, plus you can squeeze some good power out (200+hp) of an all-motor Miata engine if you spend big bucks on it.

Either of those would sure be fun in an FC but I dont think there are any mount kits that make this a drop-in conversion so you'd be spending a lot of time on fitment and fabbinnng mounts, etc.
