GSX - fabricates what you need, but you're paying top dollar. (Which you should for that level of quality.)

Custom. Doing it yourself like a lot of us have.
Let's be clear here.

You're modifying the car severely, the ones that are really qualified for a job like this... are from real engineers. Not shady tree mechanics.

Notice how the images on the website aren't coated or painted?
No shame in showing you the quality of part interfaces... Then you decide what coating you desire.

Thanks for the compliments. Just one thing, DO NOT ORDER FROM DMH Fabrication!

It was a joint venture between myself and my brother, but he has since gotten into some shady stuff, lost his mind, stolen many items from me and my parents, and is not even talking to us anymore. If you have any questions about the swap, or are interested in me doing anything for you, please contact me directly through PM. Do not email the website since my brother has taken control of it, and blocked me out completely.

Sorry for the rant, but I just don't want anyone to think I am affiliated with that website any longer!

No worries. I just didn't want anyone thinking I was still affiliated with him. It's pretty messed up, but unfortunately it has to be that way.

Haha i know i know. But my family comes first.
Ground clearance, i cant tell yet until i drop the motor in, mine may be really low because i have the rx7 r1 suspension which makes it VERY low. So we shall see, uf anything ill change out the front suspension.
The shifted performance subframe looks really good. I was originally going to go with tech 2 before but i was hearing some complaints about it, that and some people would ho as far as buying it and modifying it. I would just research around the net like i did to make your decision.
Im going with a Rurbonetics T70 turbo i cant wait!!!!!!

Woooooh!!! Got the motor in, it took a little bit because of the brackets on the sides kept interfering with placing the motor in. I can imagine it being a lot easier placing the car on a lift and lowering the body onto the motor and subframe as Tech2 did in their video. It balances surprisingly well with the R1 suspension. Of course the transmission isnt in yet but that wont add a significant amount as the motor. Well enough talk, here are the pics

Why is there a ~1/4" gap between the front lower control arm bushing and the subframe? I'm not even sure how that's possible considering it looks like he used the oem subframe and chopped where he added the cross tubes. I would recommend measuring the engine in several locations relative to the frame rails, because it certainly looks crooked. I am not trying to criticize your build. I just want to make sure you don't get stuck with something that's not built right.

Its all good man, everyone has their opinion. It sits straight, i tested it today, the reason i didnt tighten the nuts completely down was because i wanted to ops check the motor to make sure everything works. I tested everything today and....my starter needs to be changed
I turned the key and just heard the gear spin. I researched it and found out it may be the bendix. So im going to take it off and see if i can get it rebuilt here.

To everyone out there watching this thread, i understand what all of you are thinking in regards to the 350z, yes it did suck for that individual and ruined Shifted Performance's reputation, but this is my build and it will be done right. Thank you
