It's pretty clean. The tires look funky though. Nonetheless, his collection is tight. Lucky guy!

I smell somthing fishy - iirc every rotary powered mazda prior to the RX-4 had round taillights, the taillights on that car look to be from a boinger Mazda

this guy obviously makes money selling restored mazdas.

i dont believe this car is worth that much, because it's been repainted and modified, it's not street legal. 1977 is not the most desired year either, BUT it's freaking clean, so

BUMP for nice 3

Says that it was painted by the previous owner-- could be. You can see the masking and tape rack in one of the photos. Does look clean.

Yep, he bought my '71 1200 several years ago. Looks like he's got quite the collection.

Oh, it's worth that much alright! One went on Ebay last summer for $23,800 that was in similar condition. According to info I got from John MacBeth, they only made about 1500 SP's which makes the car extremely rare! I'm fortunate to have two.

15.1k and it didn't meet his reserve, wonder what he's really looking to get out of it. Even that is serious money, but it is a beautiful car.
