Wierd rotary siting in CT

It was a white little mazda sports car with "Rotary Engine" emblem on the rear. The tail lights looked different then what I am used to. The car almost looked like a really old 1st gen rx7 but I couldnt tell. The car was in mint condition and the driver was very slow (an old man). Suprisingly no smell of exhaust!!

What the heck was it that I saw???

Ya I should probably change that avatar....

Naa it wasnt that car. hmm.. The rear lights were square. It may have just been an early 1st gen rx7, but clearly it had a "Rotary Engine" emblem which I've only seen pictures of under this forum section.

RX-3 have round rear lights. He said they were square. Probably a Ford F-150 pick up.

Naa it must have been an rx7. Oh well!

On a lighter note, today I got a close look at an rx4!!!!

The car had "Under Construction" painted on the front windshield. The only two panels missing on the car were the front fenders. This car had no interior and no engine. It had a tranny and all the head and tail lights were in good shape. Its amazing. The car has actually been sitting in that abandoned performance shop lot for who knows how long, and today was the first day I drove by and realized it was a Mazda RX something.

If anyone wants pictures or a possible disconnected phone number, let me know!!
