I picked this old school carb up along the way during my 79 RX-7 build, and dug it out the other day. I've been thinking of dusting it off an rebuilding it but I'm not sure exactly what it was originally used on but my research indicates early pre-RX-7 in the 71-74 timeframe. I believe that the emissions have been deleted from the manifold.
I'd like to verify that I've correctly identified it and I'm wondering if it would perform better than a stock 79 Nikki on a 12A manifold, and what rebuild kits are out there? Would this manifold perform better than a 12A 79?
