What else will 74-77 rotor housing work on?

I got a set of rotor housings from a 13b, its a 4-port carburated(with the blue air cleaner housing that says mazda on it), Im thinking that it is from an rx-3... I dont remember what the 4,5, and 6 were... it had a 5-speed tranny, and 3mm apex seals... so im guessing 3... I was wondering if they will work in a 6-port n/a application. I could probally look on friday and compare the housings but im not near them and I just thought about it.

The RX3 never used the 13B, so you have RX4, REPU, or Cosmo housings. There were differences there mainly with the air injection into the exhaust port. So if you want to be smog legal the air inject must match. The 84-85 gsl-se will not match if your housings are 74-75 or REPU. If smog is not an issue then you could use these in the 84-85 GSL-SE. As mentioned the main water seals were in the rotor housings in the early years. Later years they were in the cast iron side housings.

A friendly bit of advice for posting. You only have to hit the reply button once. This forums server is slow and takes a while but it will post everytime you click the button.
On a side note you might enjoy another forum we have
