Turbo vs. Supercharge with carb setup

Well the time is getting close for me to afford an atkins supercharger for my RX-2 but now I am having second thoughts. For the same amount of money (~3000) for the atkins setup I could get a T2 engine, intercooler, etc. The deal is I really dont want to go to fuel injection and have to worry about electronics and wiring (since I went to 13B a while back). Sooooo is it feasible to setup a T2 motor with a carb setup? and if so how does this work and who makes the components? Anyone running this setup?

Which webers are you going to use? the 36 DCD's? man if thats what your going to use those won't flow a p port, you need the 51mm IDA.
Any ways I might do that eventualy with my p port.

go super

Kathy @ Atkins can get you a sidedraft manifold for the Camden\Atkins blower. Its designed to fit the smaller 5" blowers rather than the 7", but if you change up the oil lines a little bit you can run it on the 7" with no problem. Also, a 1" aluminum spacer under the sidedraft intake will jack it up enough to clear the original oil lines.

Not much work to make it fit, and then go get yourself the DCOE style carb of your choice. I'm going with SDS injection\DCOE throttle body.

Make sure you raise the oil pressureon the motor before the blower install.

Cullman to Inverness? Holy crap thats a long drive. I got a ticket in Blount county, and I was a long way from home.

I will try to get to the SCCA opener, if my damned 1st gen ever gets finished.
