Tired of RX-3s

I think you should turn one of your 3s into an Autocrossing monster. Billy is getting parts together now, like coilovers and all the other **** you'd need to do it. Then drop in a bridgeport motor and tear that **** up man! You'll never be bored again.

Find an early 70's Colt and put a rotary in it.
(pics of my dad's old car for inspiration)
Or if you want to play hard mode, see if you can find a Turbo Colt...
(I wish he kept these cars, along with the 240Z race car)

Autocrossing one them RX-3s came to mind but I sold my Suburban and Silverado so I have to wait til I get another truck for towing. Billy is cool. he recently hooked me up with some needle bearings for the RESpeed camber kit since I fucked up one set while swapping suspensions. Both light blue and midnite blue RX-3 are rolling with REspeed front camber kit and the rear disc brake bracket.
Nice colt. I grew up with dodge colts and ford escort back in PI. What I really wanted is a late 60s toyota land crusier but finding one in stock condition is like pullng teeth. My dad had one so it would be nice to relive my younger days LOL.
Im currently working on the rotolla so Im coming up with more ideas on how to do it right. It will keep me busy for about a week or so. Then I will just garage all my RX-3s and will concentrate in working in my house (I dont know why I didnt think of that in the first place LOL)

not giving up on rotaries, just looking for something more challenging as in rotary transplant or vice versa. after many years of tinkering with old school mazdas, I already know what to expect (not saying Im an expert but one requires a little more rubbing than the other). So Im kinda looking for a different old school project, havent decided as Im taking my time.

I've got an idea Mel. Build a car that's fuel injected. If I remember correctly, you have used carbs on everything.
BTW, I just returned home from my 4th trip to the Philippines and I have yet to see an RX over there. You could donate one of your 3's to them.

Don't do it! You just got that sucker looking good. I guarantee you will regret it if you do. I sold my 3 once and have regretted it ever since. I don't plan on selling my 7 for a good 30 years, and even then, hopefully I will have a son to pass it on to......hehe
Send me a pm if you decide to sell your wheels seperate, I might have a friend interested.
