A little bonus. I'm doing a little air-cooled 10cc rc-engine when I have time over...
And that's not often I'm afraid...

The 2nd and 3rd rotor are going to fire at the same time? From the first drawings it looks as if your going to do a 1324 deal? Or am i misunderstanding the first cuts?

It makes sense now, at least to me.

I need to stop running the mills at work and learn the damn lathes, your thread's rather inspiring.

Thats quite a rigid lathe, ours would be lifting off the ground with that much axis weight

Looking good!

blwfly 03-28-10 03:17 PM

is that lathe computer operated?
its insane how that works is the shaft centered on the machine or does it get changed where the 4 holes are on the one end?

nice prompt progress makes me keep cheacking for updates

Yes, it's an CNC-lathe that I program with MasterCam.
I change hole in the end to get the excenter, and have 5 holes in each end. One for the center, and one for each 90deg.
I don't be needing two of them I relalized after, but they aren't in the way so :)
