these utes were cool before EVERYONE started building them! Me and my mates built the first 13b Turbo van, the first 13b FWD mazda 323 etc etc.
I really wish people over here would get some new ideas with what to drop a rotor in next,

honda civic - done
Mitsi Libero - done
subaru wrx - done
toyota vans,utes, DX's corollas, altezza's - all done
mazda vans, utes and anything else with a mazda badge on it - done
ford cortina - done
Holden commodore - done (with 20b)
Lamboughini countach (kit car) - currently in the build with 20b
Ferrari F40 (mr2 conversion) - currently on the cards after the lambo

I could go on all day........

Here is an idea give me a car brand and I will let you know if it's been done before, that i know of.

Dont get me wrong, im not a hater I would just like to see some original stuff coming up like the 1993 toyota corona I stumbled accross last night, has a 13b fwd set up in it, very cool.

Yea I dont think they were trying to showi off a "new idea" as this has been done many times before. My buddy currently has a B series w/ a 12a in it (doesnt look nearly as nice). Its the details and all the work invoved that makes this truck stand out....and of course the power plant.

Centrifugal superchargers... it almost appears to be a combination of supercharger and turbo cuz there are no belts connected to the turbo and it has an exhaust housing. Centrifugal superchargers have no exhaust housing nor do they have exhaust running thru them... And there is a downpipe comin off the turbo. I believe he's running a sc and turbo from the look and sound of it

it is Turbo, not supercharged, the size and sound of the belts are from a gilmour drive pulley set, sound like a super charger but not, they are just a bolt on pully kit that looks way cooler than the stock. I am gutted they dont make them for FD's this mod is very common over here in NZ, finishes off the engine nicely.

mazdatrix has some i think.....*edit tweakit.net has it*

I like that truck how it is, even the black tuner wheels. I am doing mine very similar. Except mine is red, and single cab. I'm also not going to do the gauges like he did, mine will be WAY more subtle and different. I want to get good power from my engine, but I am told to be careful with the mods to the N/A 13b. I was thinking of going turbo, but IDK, as there's a nice supercharger setup out there as well. Either way, I wont put my FMIC like he did his. Thats pretty much the ONLY thing I dont like about that truck...

They fit 12a and 13b. Here's mine on my bridgeport 12a. Be willing to spend about 380.00 bucks as you have to get them from Australia.

IS that what gives it that 'whine' sound as if it were supercharged? Sounds bad ***. Here's my thing, I have a 100% stock 13b from an '88. Would it be best to keep it fuel injected, or should I convert it to carb? If I go carb, would I still need to get an ECU and wiring harness? (which I dont have yet) Whats the rough pricing on converting it to carbd? Wondering because I wanna have it setup with good power, and reliability for when I first start driving the truck. Keep in mind I will also do a racing suspension (coilovers and 4 link) so I can track it, and keep the ride where I like it....low.

if you go carb you don't need a ecu, theres a few places that sell the manifold you need and carbs.

What about the igniton?

Would I benefit a power increase from the carb changeover? Or, would it be best to stay with efi?
