Slow start

So I've been having trouble starting my car lately. It's sort of a 50/50 shot that it starts normally while the other time it's slow to turn over. The battery is brand new but it just seems like it's not giving me enough juice to start the car. When I switched the battery to my other car it started just fine, so I know it's not the battery. Could it be my starter or ignition????? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

First check and make sure you have a good ground and that both your positive and negative cables are in good condition. After those check out ok, then make sure your getting 12v to the large battery cable to the starter and also 12v to the starter solenoid (small wire) when the key is turned on. If that all checks out and you still have problems then most likely your starter is going out.
