This is for my race car. What I have is a 73 rx2 and I am putting a 13bt in it. On the ignition side, I am putting in a modified distributor from my 80 and I was wondering if someone had a simple schematic I could look at that had the key ignition, coils and starter. I need to rewire this thing, but I am getting confused trying to look at wiring diagrams, I want something that is simple so I can wire this puppy up and be done with it. Thanks guys.

 

Get a fog lights relay except the terminals for the lights will hook up to the (+) terminal of the coil. Be sure to use an in-line fuse. For the low voltage (controls the relay) can be a toggle switch OR a line coming from the ignition switch (energized when the key is ON). Usually, the non-bosch kit will give you a diagram.

Now for the igniters, 80 dizzy is a little blurry to me but it has a separate igniter so it should be the same as the 81+. the igniter should have a engraving in back --- that is (+) and (-) terminals. Run a wire from igniter (+) to coil (+). that applies to the (-) as well.

 

Simple? How's this for yah?
