Some time ago I found the attached picture on an Australien site. Perhaps some people have seen it posted here before, but for those who haven't it may be of interest.

I don't know the person who originally took/posted the picture, but if this person reads this, I hope he/she(!) will let us know when and where it was taken and perhaps what happened to the car later on.

Judging by the local architecture I would guess that's in Japan.

i'm gonna cry!! that poor cosmo! the glass is almost in eerrily (yea i know its mispelled) good condition. its a shame to see such a unique and rare vehicle to go down like that.

 

I could go for having that old mazda logo grill badge though..
It is sad about that cosmo, but it could be saved.
Just takes a **** load of money and time.

****....those cosmos and the R130!! pretty sad sights huh. Looks to have been an exciting accident with that FD3S sitting on the rocks!

 

i saw that wreck on speed, he went to turn and just kept goin and flew into the harbor, there was also a first gen that got trashed and impailed on a fence, thats the stuff they need to have on speed all the time, there where minis, of tvr's, old rotarys i wanna see it again

 

Thats from the New Zealand Targa... a few cars die in the name of motorsport

why..........they could at least give it to me they don't need that poor thing any way at least i'll take care of it and it might not rust back into the earth that poor cosmo!
