What would you say is the better car and why?

 

They both serve a purpose the RX-7 is a true sports car while the RX-8 is more of a sports coupe that was designed to fit four. RX-7 is made to fit two, four if it must(on cars with 2+2 seating). RX-7 is faster than the RX-8 by about a second 1/4 mile stock. However the RX-8 has a better motor, producing around 250 bhp naturally asperated, if you could hook up a turbo to that it could easily be faster then an RX-7, or if you could drop the 8's motor into a 7's watchout.

Personally I like the RX-7 better but the RX-8 serves it's purpose as well. I've heard that if the RX-8 does well they'll bring back the RX-7 in 2006 so you guys better go out there and buy every last one of those RX-8s.

 

Think RX-3 on steroids. That's possibly kinda what the RX-8 is, sorta. The RX-8 is a compromise car. It's also the best move Mazda can make right now, what with Ford breathing down their necks about this whole rotary thing and all. I'd say the RX-8 is the better car. But then again, you didn't specify anything.

Hmm, better engine, better handling (out-corners an FD), better chassis (stiffer than an FD), seats 4 adults (more comfortably than an FD, and was designed with the extra weight in mind), I could go on, but anyway, let's go out and get some RX-8s and have fun.

well ok I still love the FD3S the most but the RX-8 will save our souls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
