RX8 info?

What is the best on-line source for rx8 info? I just got the RX-8 CD from Mazda in the mail yesterday and thought it was pretty cool, it rekindled my interest in the car. Hopefully I'm not too far behind the times. I thought the mini CD shaped like a rotor was hot!

I got that CD too, looks pretty good I thought.
I think the ford half of the company made the CD though... they mention the 255HP at 8500RPM, but they also show a tack with an 8k redline :-\
obviously not the correct pic for the RX.

We need to show Ford that Mazda's Renesis is a viable engine so more pressure is put on them to allow Mazda to build and sell more of them in other vehicles (both Mazda and *gasp* Ford). I've seen Isuzu engines in Chevy mini trucks. Why not Mazda engines in Ford products? It's obviously a really great engine. Ford is probably the only company that could aquire rotaries cheaper than Mazda itself. 33% or whatever their ownership is these days ought to be a good negotiating point. It may even put pressure on GM to start producing rotaries again. We may be heading for a rotary rebirth in the industry. Hey, I can dream can't I?

There have been many Mazda engines in ford products.

-Early Ford mini-trucks were just re-badged Mazdas
-The 1st and 2nd generation Ford Probes and Telstars (in Australia) are just Mazda 626s with Ford-designed interiors and bodies
-The Ford Escort had Mazda motors and suspension parts
-The Mercury Capri convertibles are based on Mazda 323 mechanicals.

There are others I can't remember. But I don't think there will ever be rotaries in Ford products, and I don't think Mazda would want there to be.
