Rx3 Turbo Hood?

Has anyone made a turbo II style hood for a RX3 wagon? I am just trying to find some pics of what it might look like. Maybe Even a website that sells fiberglass turbo II style hood scoops?

Gambone took one of my TII hoods and made a mold of the scoop.
Then he made a hood with the TII scoop for his rx4. Yes I know it's not an rx3 but same process. It took a boat load of work to make the scoop/hood. I'm sure he'd recommend the kit over building.

Please look to the awful trend by my countrymen in the 90s and dont install a scoop on an old school rotor. Its as rare as rocking horse **** to see anyone do it these days because it looks terrible. Is it for an intercooler? Why not front mount it. just my 2c

After a little budgeting I am hoping to swap out to a front mount setup, until then i was looking for a inexpensive way to make the top mount on my s4 13bt work in my rx3 wagon.

Add some piping and use the top mount as a front mount

or u can do like sam(bad 83) did on his turbo fb and put a scoop off a wrx on it.

his build thread with pix and vidz. last page tho so u'll need to go back some pages for other pix. or just read the whole thing from the beginning.

A front mount set up would be more cost effective than a scoop that has to be grafted etc. Bit of a bitch to undo as well. Look for a mx6 or 626 turbo from 88-91 with the 2.2 motor they had the same intercooler as a Turbo 2 front mounted. There's gotta be used evo intercoolers on craigslist too. These may give you a cost effective front mount option.
