You better get with it!

I hope to get our local club a dyno day soon. I am itching to know for sure how much power I'm making. I know dyno numbers don't mean sqaut when it come to putting the power to the ground, but I think the old girl is hooking pretty dang good now!

I know I may of asked this before.

But where did you get your first intercooler? The ones on eBay look bigger (like the Godspeed one), just curious since it fits well and you don't have to relocate the battery.

Thanks,
Chris

My first intercooler was a one-off piece that fabbed from two first gen Eclipse aluminum intercoolers. You can use something like this. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Inter...Q5fAccessories

I always wondered what you had used, it really drove me nuts trying to find one, I just thought to myself how well it fit and all.

Still have it? lol

I love this project, nearly everything modified in the RX7 way with all the tips and tricks along the way.

Unfortunatly I let one of my local buddys use it on his 12A blowthrough project. We traded some parts out for it.

I finally got around to playing on the dyno!!!!

I wasn't worried about making huge numbers, so my pulls were at 15psi. I also had my rev limiter set at 7K.

Sounds good. Boost sounds linear with no flutter.
Got a dyno sheet? I bet it it hits boost pretty quick.

Also, is that an STI scoop? Decepticon??

I opligise. In my haste to post this last night before I went to bed, I forgot the most important thing----- The DYNO sheets!!!!!!!

With this current setup, I am hitting full boost between 3000rpms and 3500rpms. After 3 pulls, I had to tell the dyno guy to full throttle mine from 2500rpms and in fourth gear. He looked puzzled, but did it anyway. He was shocked after that and couldn't believe how hard and how quick the boost came in. He said my car spooled the quickest out of anything gas powered that he had ever dynoed!!!!! Freakin sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

These pulls are 3rd and 4th gear

My AFRs are tuned for 20psi, but I didn't let him run it over 15psi. So the AFRs were a little rich, but I didn't care

Yes, and yes. The STI scoop was just to try out something different. It's really grown on me, plus the looks that the car gets turns some heads. The Decepticon emblem. Well, there was a first gen RX7 that was a G1 Autobot that was named "Camshaft." I thought that was such a mockery of the RXs that I had to retaliate. I decided to join the Decepticons. I even gave the old girl a name. She is know as Apex

Anyway, here is the G1 Autobot, "Camshaft."

What a punk!!!!

Still running a 84-85 GSL rear. Speaking on which, I just changed the rear end yesterday. The last one held up to 4 years of boost!!!!!

Hey guys. I haven't done a whole lot to my car lately, but I have a friend of mine that is taking art video classes at our local college. He put together a little vid for me from our club meet today. I think that he did such a dang good job that I thought that I would share with you guys
