RX3 Front Spoiler Source(s)?

Recently picked up a 1978 RX3 SP. It is the orange color with the goofy stripe package. Not new to the forums but this is my first foray into the old school rotary scene.

The car runs and drives well but has some front end damage. I sourced a nose cone, some fenders and a hood but have been unable to find a front spoiler. I am not particularly concerned about originality as it is not set for a full restoration only a cool old driver. I have not yet been able to find any source for the front spoiler. I searched this and other forums but come back empty.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg

Haha. I know its an SP and relatively desirable. The stripes are goofy but way cool in a 70's over the top vibe. I love it.

Just look at the advertisement for this car. Flaming skid marks and bright orange with black and yellow stripes. Its like a hot wheels commercial!

I attached two pics of the car. I am heading down to Miami tomorrow to get the hood, fenders and nose cone. Still need a gas tank door and some other bits and pieces. Anyone know of a good carpet kit for these?

First off, where did you find this for sale? Every once in a while I look for these old school rotaries but never find anything, not even on eBay.

Second, is this the part you are looking for?

No I am looking for one like these pictured below. Cheaper the better as always. I doubt I'd be dropping $500 on one.

I found the car on Atlanta C-List day after it was listed. No picture and a basic description. Emailed the guy and picked it up that weekend. I wasn't looking for one buy though it was a pretty good deal. Came with a bunch of spare parts too if any one is looking for anything specific. They guy had RX-3s for 39 years and kept a bunch of stuff for them. He was moving so he gave them all to me.

Thanks for the leads guys! I have a line on one right now but am always interested to see whats out there.

Tonka, I replied to your post on nopistons also. That is a super clean car and we are pretty close to one another. The seller included a bunch of stuff with the car but from what I can tell its mostly stuff from his second RX-3 that was t-boned back in 1995. If there is anything specific you are looking for let me know.

JDriftM, Please sent pics and what you might want for it.

There is a guy in Aguada, Puerto Rico that made them as original as they come, and back then the price was $75.00 right now it should run around 100 or 125

Also the stripes you could find them on EBAY for $500.oo

Is he still making them? And is he willing to send one over to Australia? How do I get in contact with him?

I already have the stripe set from Juan (vintage rotary decals). The front spoiler is the only part I need now apart from tail lights and I've got everything to make mine an SP replica.

There's a guy on Ausrotary (username "pepsi") who tells me he'll be doing some reproduction SP front spoilers in carbon fibre.
