The RX2 now runs - help with gas tank?

It took lots of reading and lots of questions, but the RX2 seems to run pretty darned well. I started it up today without much complaint, and let it sit and idle in the driveway for about 15 or 20 minutes.

There is still a lot of non-engine work to do (namely brakes), but a good first step. The carb needs some more adjustment, but I just don't know enough about it right now to do that work. I took the top off and hosed the jets & bleeds down last night, and reset the floats, but it still doesn't idle *quite* right.

Here's a little vid of the thing idling (and the alternator squeeking )

Question: I had the gas tank boiled, cleaned, and coated, but it appears they did a not good enough job with the feed pipe that sucks fuel from the tank and delivers it to the fuel pump. With everything connected properly, there is virtually no gas to the carb - sucking directly out of a gas can (as in the video) everything is fine. Does anyone know a good way to clean this pipe out?

Thanks for any advice!

Use a speedometer cable as a snake to get in the pipe with some carb cleaner or solvent. You may have to cut the metal adapter off. I had quite a few cables so I didn't mind doing it. That is my patented "poor man's small gas pipe cleaner".
